  1. Head over to and create an account, keep in mind you have $300 worth of credits to use and a 1-year trial. Once you have used up all your credits, you can just create another account

  2. Once you have finished creating an account head over to

  3. On the top left corner you will see three lines, click on it, and a menu will pop up

  4. Look for "Compute Engine" and then "VM instances"

  5. Press "Create Instance" on the top

  6. Name the server anything you like

  7. Change the Region to "us-east4 (Northern Virginia)" and choose "us-east4-a" as the zone

  8. Look for "Machine Type" and select "Custom" drag the Core to 4 vCPU and the Memory to 8 GB, you can make it higher if you would like

  9. Go to "Boot disk" and change the operating system to "Windows" then change the "Version" to either "Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter" or "Windows Server 2016 R2 Datacenter"

  10. Make sure you select both "Allow HTTP traffic" and "Allow "HTTPS traffic" under the firewall section

  11. Select "Create" at the bottom and wait for it to boot up, it will show a green checkmark once it is done

  12. Click on the drop-down menu next to "RDP" and select "Set Windows password" make any username you want and press "Set" a password will pop up and make sure you copy it and save it somewhere

  13. Press the drop-down menu again and select "Download the RDP file" and connect to the server

  14. Search "Server Manager" in the search bar which will bring you to the dashboard if it doesn't pop up already

  15. Press "Configure this local server" and where you see "IE Enhanced Security Configuration" you would want to change it from "On" to "Off" Turn off for administrators and Users and press OK

  16. Go back and select "Add roles and features", select next until you see ".Net Framework 3.5" select that option and press next until it lets you install

  17. Now you are able to download your bots and use them on the server. Once you are done with the server, make sure you back to the "VM instances" and select the 3 dots again, select "Stop" which will stop the server
